...then comes baby in a baby carriage

When I was in college I lived with three of my closest friends. And through my friends, I met Jen. I can actually remember thinking how cool she was. She always had funky hair and wore fun outfits that I could never even dream of wearing. She worked at a hair salon and was always looking for her next adventure. The best part about her? She spent most nights on our couch... as our fifth roommate. We have shared quite a few tears, laughs and burritos through the years. Jen has alway let me be me, opinions and all, and she has always seen the very best in me. It's something that I will always appreciate about her. Well, my friend Jen is all grown up now. Her hair isn't as funky and she doesn't sleep on my couch. She is married and expecting her first baby. During a trip to Ohio a couple of years ago, the Florida girl was whisked away by a northerner. She was hesitant to tell me about him at first, because she knew that out of the two of us I am the more rational, cautious.... dare I say (at times) boring one. Before I knew it there was talk of a ring and wedding planning began. Four and a half months later I got to stand (actually sit... I was 9 1/2 months pregnant) and watch my friend get the story she had dreamed of. It is fun to watch how God wired Jen to crave a crazy, adventurous, one of a kind story, but it is most amazing to see God provided it for her. I've loved getting to know Barrett in the short times I've spent with him. One thing I know for sure is that he loves Jen!
